It feels like we hit fast forward from the moment we brought the boys home to now.

Everyone will emphasize how "time flies" when you have kids. I feel like we teleported to this milestone. I wanted kids so badly and by surprise on St. Patty's day I found out I was pregnant. By the time I was seven months, the boys were anxious to make their debut and they were born at 29 weeks and 1 day. They both weighed only 3 pounds. My instinct to protect them and love them washed over me as I looked at their tiny bodies in the incubator.

I have to praise God for keeping my husband I strong through this journey. Parenthood is a wild ride, and I'm so proud of us for hanging on.
